When the Bengals signed BenJarvus Green-Ellis to a $9 million deal, they had high hopes that the former undrafted Patriot could add some pop to their running game. But Green- Ellis hasn?t found his rhythm in the Cincinnati offense.
Green-Ellis averaged 5.2 yards per carry in the season opener against Baltimore, but he hasn?t topped an average of 4 yards per carry in the six games since. And he hasn?t had a rushing touchdown in the past four games. Edge: Broncos

What?s not to like here for Denver? Peyton Manning is 7-0 against the Bengals, with 17 touchdown passes and only three interceptions. Manning has also strung together four consecutive games of at least 300 yards passing with at least three touchdown strikes. Offenses have had success when they force the Bengals? super-sized linebackers ? Vontaze Burfict weighs 245 pounds and Ray Malaluga weighs 265 ? into pass coverage. Edge: Broncos

A.J. Green is a dominant, big-play receiver who can overwhelm a defense. But there are times when second-year Bengals QB Andy Dalton tries too hard to get the ball to Green. Tight end Jermaine Gresham can be trouble for a defense. Wide receiver Andrew Hawkins is only 5-foot-7 and 180 pounds, but the former Canadian Football League player runs well in traffic and has big-play potential, especially on bubble screens. Special teams
Brandon Tate and Pacman Jones give the Bengals potential pop in the return game. Jones has an 81-yard punt return for a touchdown this season. But the Broncos have covered well and may have the best power kicking-game duo in the league in Matt Prater and Britton Colquitt. If the Broncos can be more successful in the return game, they could have one of the best special teams in the NFL. Edge: Broncos
