PULLMAN, Wash. - One week after the brutal attack on WSU Professor Dr. David Warner, his friends, family, and colleagues gathered in Pullman Saturday for a vigil to honor and support him.?
In attendance were Dr. Warner's parents who were overwhelmed by the support they and their son has received.?
"It's very shocking to look at the television and see your son and to realize that this is senseless. It is, it's a shock. You watch it on TV an it's somebody else. But when you look and it's your own, it's very hard," Warner's mother?Cherie told KHQ Saturday.?
Police in Pullman are still searching for four people shown in surveillance video released earlier this week. So far no suspects have been named, and no arrests have been made.?

As for Dr. Warner, we called on his condition Saturday, and the hospital still had him listed in critical condition.
